Amy Parker is a writer & editor with a background in creative writing, substance use prevention education, and recovery support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and is completing her Master’s in Creative Writing (September 2026).

Her work spans creative nonfiction, journalism, and reflective essays, with publications including The Penmen Review and OC87 Recovery Diaries. In addition to her writing, Amy has experience editing academic and creative work, helping writers strengthen clarity, structure, and voice.

As a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) and Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), she brings a unique perspective to her work—helping individuals not only tell their stories, but understand them.

Through coaching, Amy works with writers at all levels to develop confidence, refine their craft, and communicate with purpose
